ALBUM LAUNCH SHOWS ANNOUNCED

To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated new record “Change Your Position”, Tax The Heat are pleased to announce two launch shows in London and Bristol where they will play the forthcoming new studio album IN FULL alongside other crowd favourites from their catalogue. The first show will be held at The Islington, in London on Friday 9th March; the second will see the band perform in their hometown Bristol at Rough Trade on Saturday 7th April.

Vocalist and guitarist Alex Veale explains how the track came about: “We had started coming up with initial ideas for songs for what would become our second album ‘Change Your Position’ and it was the moment we had a jam through the riff of ‘All That Medicine’ that everything became clear. For me, it is the root of the album from which everything else grew. It was inspired in part by Fame by David Bowie, the idea of cycling around a riff and a groove totally appealed to me. I think it’s the one we are most looking forward to playing on the road and making sure that riff really hits hard.”

'Change Your Position' is the follow up to the 2016 critically-acclaimed debut album 'Fed To The Lions'. The new album sees the band take a huge step forward as both songwriters and performers and the band’s unique blend of fuzz-driven rock has won them a legion of fans. Europe - We're coming for you! 

This November we'll be jumping the pond to come and play for you at some great venues across Europe as special guests to Europe. We're really looking forward to coming back after a great couple of shows last year in Belgium and Holland!

Following our shows with Europe, we'll be joining Terrorvision as special guests for dates across the UK, culminating in our own Headline performance at this year's Planet Rockstock in Trecco Bay.
